Charlie Kirk is dead.
Charlie Kirk was the founder of Turning Point USA, a conservative student activist group, and host of The Charlie Kirk Show, a nationally-syndicated daily radio show. The focus of Turning Point was empowering young people to speak out for free markets and limited government. Much of Charlie’s work involved speaking and debating on college campuses. He was willing to debate anyone, to hold out his views and be challenged. It was during such an event on the campus of Utah Valley University that he was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon, at the age of 31.
How is it we accept evil by making excuses for the most egregious actions taken by those that reside amongst us as neighbors? These excuses against the rule of law destroy the trust in the law. Trust is the foundation of leadership. No trust, no one to lead.
Our leaders need to stop being politicians in order to benefit themselves and understand that our founding fathers were leaders sacrificing for those they led. You have two jobs:
1. Provide us our opportunity under our GOD GIVEN RIGHTS; and
2. Protect our GOD GIVEN RIGHTS.Support our Military, Support our Police and Fire, and protect our rights. That includes the 14th Amendment Right to Equal Protection and the 1st Amendment Right to Free Speech.
Your job is to protect our Constitutional God Given Rights. That is why America is different. That is how America is different. Our government, our king, our leaders do not give us our freedom, because God already did. Our leaders job is to serve us by providing and protecting our opportunity under those rights.
When a child is wrong, punish the child – do not say “they are only a child.” When someone is mentally ill, punish them and treat them – do not say “they did not know what they are doing.” When someone that is competent commits a crime, do not excuse the violation of the law, punish them severely to deter future behavior and rehabilitate them during the punishment, thus when the punishment ends they contribute to society instead of detract from it.
It is time to stand up and stand out as Americans that uphold the rule of law and do not tolerate those that do not. Charlie Kirk’s death is a mirror in which we can see ourselves as we truly are: a people who have lost faith in our own founding and believe that free people can govern themselves through reason rather than force. If we cannot reclaim the inheritance of reason over violence, of speech over silence, then his death will not be the end of one man’s story. It will be the beginning of our own undoing.
Those who we do not agree with, even those who we disagree with in politics and race, must remember that we are all children of one God. This is what we should remember. If there is any redemption in this tragedy, it lies in whether we choose to see in these senseless deaths not only what we have lost, but what we must do to recover.
Stand up and Stand out for your God Given Rights. If you need support in doing that, give us a call at 843-357-9301.
May God Bless You, Your Business, and the United States of America,
