Under Attack, Remember Lincoln
There are times we all come under attack. It may be as simple as a bad day, an unfair assertion, or the ignorance of others. The key in life is to remember how great people before us faced those attacks.
Social Media and Online Defamation
62.3% of the world's population uses social media. The average daily usage is 2 hours and 23 minutes as of April 2024. This dramatic rise in social media use has resulted in an increased risk of online defamation.
Defamation happens when someone makes a false statement about you—verbally or in writing—that damages your reputation. Verbal defamation is called "slander." Written defamation is called "libel."

Happy Tax Day
Many politicians and truth be told, each of us, have a very narrow window of perspective. It is hard to understand the view point and mindset of another, when we have never experienced the others impacts in life. Whether it be economics, sex, race, culture, victimhood, perpetrator hood, and so many more. At the same time, I propose to you the same loss of perspective applies to entrepreneurship-hood? Not really a word, but there is a stark difference between starting a business, running a business, and working at a business. Lets face it whether you like it or not the GOVERNMENT IS A BUSINESS.
Can the Government stop your Conversation?
Thank you Supreme Court for this ruling at the beginning of the 2024 Supreme Court Term, so that we can enjoy ourselves before we have to endure the start of the 2025 Presidential term. Merry Election Season to all and to all a scary election night.

SPEEDING TICKETS
Do traffic tickets and associated fines really make us drive better? I’ve been ticketed about once every 5–7 years on average. I do notice that I am a better driver after each “occurrence.”
So, do traffic tickets make us drive more safely? Let’s explore some economic reasoning that can help us understand why they do or don’t, and then take a look at the evidence.
Improper Pronoun Usage
Constitutional Rights, Parental Rights, Guardian Rights. The intention of the law is to protect those fundamental rights provided to us by God, not have man undermine them. When those that enforce the law forget that the purpose of the law is to protect the rights and opportunities of the people, not to target and repress the people they disagree with, then we will lose the freedom associated with those rights.

The FBI's Lawless Raid
“I will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. It is not the Constitution as I would like to have it, but as it is, that is to be defended... It must be so respected, obeyed, enforced and defended, and let the grass grow where it may.”
― Abraham Lincoln

God Bless Those Who are Willing to Sacrifice for Others Above Themselves
Chris Avell, the pastor of Dad's Place in Bryan, Ohio, has been charged with violating the city's zoning laws for allegedly keeping the church's doors open for the homeless 24/7. City officials said the charges stem from investigations that allegedly uncovered safety risks inside the church, but the church says they made necessary repairs and that the city continues shifting the goalposts amid the dispute.
DON'T STOP
Standing or stopping is now banned on pedestrian bridges on the Las Vegas Strip. A place where visitors often pause to take photos amid the glittery casino lights or to watch street performers. Violators of the ordinance that took effect Tuesday could face up to six months in jail or a $1,000 fine.
Your "Rights"
In a previous blog we discussed your God Given American Rights, but let’s now take a look at how this concept relates to the two more modern paradigms of rights, beginning with welfare rights.
What are your RIGHTS?
The idea of rights gets invoked a lot these days. There are two categories of rights that dominate today’s political discourse.
First, there are welfare rights, which include "rights" to housing, healthcare, and education.
Second, there are identity-based rights, which include women’s rights, workers’, gay rights, and trans rights.
Sandra Day O'Connor
Sandra Day O'Connor, the first female U.S. Supreme Court Justice, passed away this month and I want to acknowledge that before we move to far away from this passing.
