Aubree M. Brunko

Although Special Education is not Aubree’s only passion. It certainly is the one that drives her career. “Every Child deserves an appropriate education,” and she sees her role as making sure that all children receive that education.

Aubree Morrison Brunko graduated from Myrtle Beach High School. Aubree is a true local to the Myrtle Beach area, as she was born and raised here, Aubree attended Coastal Carolina University, where she graduated Cum Laude, with a degree in Political Science. After College she decided to pursue her law degree and received her Juris Doctorate from The Charleston School of Law. While attending law school Aubree and her husband welcomed their first Son.

When their first son started attending public school there was some concern about a learning disability. Aubree was able to navigate the school system which only sparked a fire for her to learn everything she could about Special Education Advocacy. Because of the road she had to travel down to assure that her own son was able to have a free and appropriate education she was able to combine two of her passions Law and Education to become a Special Education Advocate in South Carolina.

Now Aubree helps parents and guardians navigate the school system by understanding their child’s Individualized Education Plans (IEP) & 504 plans. Using Strategic thinking, knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) and clear communication, Aubree can provide skilled advocacy services on behalf of children with a wide range of abilities. Aubree is compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to achieving her clients’ objectives. Aubree is very passionate about the community that she grew up in and strives to give back in every way she can. When Aubree is not working and has free time you can find her on a boat with her husband and three young children.

Aubree has trained in Special Education Advocacy from Wrighstlaw Special Education and Advocacy and is an active member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and has been certified through completing training and attending conferences with COPAA.
