Jamie is from a small town in Western Maryland. He earned his undergraduate degree from his hometown college, Frostburg State University, dual majoring in both Political Science and Law & Society with a concentration in legal studies. He was a member of both the FSU Honor Society and the National Political Science Honor Society. In law school,  Jamie found special interest in subjects involving real property and insurance – earning the CALI Award for Excellence in Land Use Controls.

Jamie began his career at a boutique law firm in Charleston, South Carolina, concentrating his practice in the areas of construction, contract, and HOA litigation. He now handles the real property litigation matters at the firm, concentrating his practice primarily on Homeowners Associations issues representing both homeowners and associations. In his free time, Jamie enjoys watching hockey, playing video games, and visiting car shows with his wife, Alexis, who is also a member of the Winslow Team.
